Accessibility

This site is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or with animation switched off. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Where we fall short of that, we would rather hear about it than not.

What is in place

• A skip link to the main content as the first focusable element on every page.
• A visible amber focus ring on every interactive element, which is never removed.
• Colour contrast checked against the AA threshold. Amber is used as an accent — for fills, rules and icons — and never as body text on a light background, where it would fail.
• Descriptive alternative text on every photograph.
• Headings in a logical order, with one first-level heading per page.
• Form fields with real labels, errors announced to assistive technology, and status messages in a live region.
• All animation and scroll effects disabled automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
• Page content rendered in the HTML itself rather than assembled by JavaScript, so it works if scripts fail.
• Navigation landmarks labelled so a screen reader can move between them.

Known limitations

• Icons are supplied by a third-party service and are inserted after the page loads. They are all decorative and hidden from assistive technology, so nothing is lost if that service is unavailable.
• The booking form needs JavaScript to submit without reloading the page. If you cannot use the form for any reason, calling (571) 478-1797 reaches the same dispatcher and is often faster.
